The Coordinating Board for Higher Education’s Missouri Report on High School Graduates Performance tracks Missouri’s public high school graduates entering the state’s public two- and four-year degree-granting postsecondary institutions as first-time full-time degree-seeking undergraduate students in the fall semester following their high school graduation.

The Comeback Story: How Adults Return to School to Complete their Degrees
Abstract: The new majority of college students have adult responsibilities, such as parenting, earning a living, and paying for college. Unfortunately, adult students are often treated as an afterthought by colleges and policymakers. Over the last 20 years, more than 37 million students have left without receiving a degree that would greatly improve their economic prospects. This joint report from the Graduate! Network and New America examines the journeys of determined individuals who get back on track, persevere, and earn their degree—known as combebackers—to show how policy makers and postsecondary institutions can design systems that support success for this new majority and better serve all students.

Degrees with Less Debt: Postsecondary Strategies that Enhance Low-Income and Black Student Success
In this 2020 report, St. Louis Graduates follows up on the information gathered in their 2017 Degrees with Less Debt work. This report identifies strategies institutions can employ to reduce race and class inequities while increasing completion, with less debt, for low-income and Black students.
CARES Act Guide
The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act was signed into law in March 2020 and included provisions for healthcare, businesses and organizations, individuals, and higher education. While the CARES Act included around $2 trillion in relief funds, the focus for this guide is on the $14 billion provided in the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF).

Degrees with Less Debt: Effective Higher Education Strategies for Underrepresented Student Populations
Commissioned by St. Louis Graduates, this report by the Illinois Education Research Council looks at which institutions are excelling in their support of low income, first-generation, and students of color through to graduation with less debt. Five Missouri colleges rose to the top of the rankings and administrators from each share their best practices.
