The Missouri Department of Higher Education & Workforce Development (DHEWD) hosted their annual Journey to College Day on July 28. Moving to a virtual format this year, Journey to College Day brought together counselors, educators, college advisors, and other college access professionals to learn about the suite of Journey to College programs along with other important initiatives across the state.
MOCAN was thrilled to present at the event this year! Executive Director Francine Pratt and Senior Associate Director Keri Gilbert reviewed the MOCAN mission and vision and provided information on MOCAN’s initial areas of focus. Additional speakers included high school counselors, DHEWD staff, a representative from the American College Application Campaign, Scholarship Central, Missouri State University, and the Missouri Association of Student Financial Aid Personnel.
